Companies face an ever-increasing array of learning options. When considering a training program, you should make sure that your employee's time is spent gaining skills that will benefit them and be of value to the company.

Learning & Development Administrative Services

Often times, the management of day to day administrative tasks crucial to a successful training program require more time than your staff is able to dedicate. CLARUS is pleased to offer Administrative Services to complement your learning management system and provide the following services: Analyzing current employee skill sets, Designing & Building course offerings that target the specific needs of each business unit, Marketing and promoting course offerings so that learning initiatives can be launched quickly and easily; Scheduling classes, tracking attendance, and equipping training rooms, etc.

Customized Courseware Development

CLARUS will develop tailor-made documentation in accordance with our own high standards. We will meet with you to design the training outline and all support materials to your specifications. Course materials typically include user-specific topics, inter-office documents/templates, macros, etc. Each student also receives interactive exercises to be used in conjunction with illustrated, easy to read training manuals. Quick Reference sheets can also be provided with step-by-step instructions for the most commonly used procedures.

As an alternative to User Guides, CLARUS can design course material in electronic PDF format. This electronic document will be created with all the necessary bookmarks and thumbnails that will enable users to quickly scan through the courseware based on individual search criteria. The document can then be made available on your corporate intranet so that it is accessible to everyone.

Group Training

Training can be either in a group fashion or individualized. Class structure is decided upon after close consultation with your personnel or training department in order to ensure optimum performance. Customized training focuses on the individual requirements of your company. Course material typically consists of your company forms, templates, standard documents, macros, etc. Our trainers are often relied on to introduce standard office practices such as: proper document management procedures, archiving methods, and security issues. As a result, students are able to work with practical examples from their own environment.

Executive Training

CLARUS is very proud of the reputation we have for providing special training for top-level executives. We recognize that discretion and professional courtesy are crucial to those upper level executives who cannot attend regularly scheduled classes. Private lessons are held at the convenience of the executive in his/her own office. A personal trainer will cover only those topics that are applicable to the executive's needs. Travel issues such as laptop support, remote access and personal organizers, such as Palm Pilots or Blackberry units can also be covered in detail.

Post-Training Support

One of the most effective ways to ensure a student's understanding of an application is to assist them after the training course has ended. As part of our support, trainers are available at your office in order to provide additional desk-side assistance. Students can ask specific questions that relate to his/her own files. We can also provide assistance to your Help Desk staff as they tackle the abundance of support calls that can sometimes be part of a new system upgrade.
